Walter's Spirit Visits During a Massage

My husband, Walter, who has been in the spirit realm since August 2024, has come to me in many ways.

He’s shared messages through friends who can connect with spirit, joined me in my energy healing sessions, visited as a parrot and a hawk, flashed lights, dreams (mine and others), etc.; this past week, he came through physical touch.

I was getting a massage with someone who had massaged both of us. I’ve been utilizing her services for almost two years. Toward the end of the massage, as she rubbed my back, I felt like Walter was coming through her hands. As I lay there, questioning this, I saw and felt him lean over and kiss my back. It was a unique experience to be lying facing down but to be able to see Walter behind me leaning over to kiss my bare back while “his” hands were massaging me.

The tears came. I was flooded with his love and missing his physical touch. I struggled to stay with the feeling of him while grief poured forth. My Goddess- what a blessing that was!

When we were done, I told the massage therapist what had happened.

She said, “Yeah, there was a time when I just stepped aside because I knew something was happening.” She did not mean that she physically stepped aside. She meant that she energetically stepped aside.

Though this is not the first time Walter has used someone else’s physical body to touch me, it was the most intense. Several months after Walter died, during an appointment with a medium I’ve used for twenty-five years, Walter shared that he would utilize others to give me the touch I missed so much. He had terrific hands. His hands held me and provided comfort and such a feeling of safety.  His touch is something I greatly miss.  He continues to provide this for me even though his physical body is gone.  

It is times like this that remind me how blessed I am to have learned energy work and the opening of my clairs so that I could connect with Walter and be aware of him in all the ways he still shows up. Being able to see Walter bending and placing a kiss on my back utilized my clairvoyance. The feel of his kiss upon my back is called clairsentience and it’s the first time I can remember experiencing that-touch from a person in spirit. I do know that the work I've done with energy and Reiki over the years has increased all of my clairs and my connection with Walter is taking it to the next level. Not only did this give me the experience of his love, but it allowed me to do more grieving.

Grief comes in layers, and it’s situations like this that are gateways to my healing.
